Lewes District Food Partnership
wants to start conversations about food & the issues that are important to people in our communities. They want to bring people together to share skills, build better food systems & work towards a future where everyone has access to good food.
“Food security occurs when all people are able to access enough safe and nutritious food to meet their requirements for a healthy life, in ways the planet can sustain into the future.” – Sustainable Food Places
There is already so much exciting work happening across Lewes District from community orchards to foodbanks, cookery clubs in schools & local projects that tackle food waste. But the road to a more sustainable food system – for both people and planet – involves collaboration and partnership.
