Incredible Edible Seaford gardening day

Taking a winter break - usually 2nd Sunday of the month - 9 - 11am

Join us for community gardening in the town centre. Anyone can join us! We meet at the Morrisons flowerbeds on the second Sunday of each month from 9am.

Pre-loved School Uniform Exchange

Friday 12th April from 1 - 5pm and Saturday 13th April from 9 - 11am

Come along to our preloved school uniform exchange at The Mercread Youth Centre where you can donate or sell your unwanted uniform and pick up your order. We'll also have a selection of pre-loved school shoes and coats for free which are not on the website. Donations of shoes and coats are welcome. We'll have all of our stock available to chose from and try on. We'll also have puzzles, board games and tea and coffee available for anyone waiting. You can now also deposit your clothes for exchange at your school. Put your name and email address in the bag with your uniform and we'll contact you to offer payment for Seaford Head uniform and an exchange code for primary school uniform.

Repairing a kettle.

Seaford Repair Cafe

4th Saturday of each month 1 - 3:30pm

Repair Cafes are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things together. We can usually repair small electrical items, bikes, tool sharpening, furniture, clothes and textiles and general repairs. We also offer a free community lunch Help to learn how to knit, crochet, hand sew and use a sewing machine Donations welcome and help to keep our activities running, thank you.

Community Lunch

4th Saturday of the month 12 - 2:30pm

Alongside the Repair Cafe but starting earlier at 12 noon, we also provide a hot lunch, salads, fruit, hot drinks and homemade cake. We also have books, games and activities if you want to stay for a while, relax and meet new people.

Knitting, crochet, hand sewing and sewing machine 'have a go' session

4th Saturday of the month 1 - 3pm

At our Repair cafe as well as the usual repairs and free community lunch, we also have volunteers who can help you to learn how to knit, crochet, hand sew or use a sewing machine.
